Located 90 miles from Guatemala City, this small exclusive hotel is a beautiful villa built on the hills surrounding Santa Catarina Palopó village, on the shores of Lake Atitlán and overlooking it’s magnifiscent volcanoes; Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro.
Accomodations:
The hotel has 4 suites and 4 standard double rooms. The main structure contains most of these rooms and the main dining and lounging areas, a small pool and the spa. The suites and standard rooms have private outdoor terraces that command incredible views to the lake and the three volcanoes that surround it. Even the beautiful bathrooms have this splendid view. The bathrooms are provided with a full line of AVEDA bath and skin care products.
One Deluxe 2 or 3 Bedroom Villa, adjacent to the hotel. The villa consists of 3 bedrooms finished with Guatemalan artifacts, art and antiques from around the world. Each bedroom has a private terrace and bathroom with separate shower and deep soaking tubs, with magnificent views. The villa enjoys a private 50 feet long lap pool, spa, indoor and outdoor living and dining areas, library, office and full kitchen. By the pool there is an area of relaxation, complete with outdoor fireplace for lounging in the evening. This villa is perched at the top of the hill, commanding incredible views, especially of the sunsets.
Services:
The Restaurant offers casual, all-day dining in al alfresco setting. Bar offers poolside drinks.
Room service is available in the privacy of individual terraces in each room.
Shop: General amenities, as well as a selection of gifts, Guatemalan textiles and souvenirs are available. Fine Cuban cigars are also in stock.
Spa: Health treatments are available at the Spa or in the privacy of your own terrace in your room. Services include: • Thai massage • Relaxing deep tissue massage • Facials • Sauna • Soaking tubs
Gym: The small gym features views to the mountain and the lake. Equipment ranges from free weights to a variety of stationary machines.
Helicopter service: The hotel provides helicopter service upon request for efficient transfers to the airport in Guatemala City, Tikal, Chichicastenango or almost anywhere else in the country. The hotel has it’s own double helipad on the premises.
